Monday 24 March – Trinity House, London, Tower Hill, London, EC3N 4DH

As a follow up to the visit to Trinity House’s offices and facilities for navigational aids at Harwich last April, this is a rare opportunity to visit the London headquarters during the 500th anniversary of their receipt of the Royal Charter from Henry VIII. They do not offer many tours, numbers are limited and weekend visits are not possible.

The tour starts at 3pm and tea, coffee and biscuits will be served at 4pm. The front entrance (near Tower Hill tube) will be open from 2.40pm.

The cost is £8 per person (the fee goes to the Trinity House charitable fund providing education and welfare services for past, present and future mariners). Please pay cash on the day or a cheque made payable to The Corporation of Trinity House.

There is a chance to meet up earlier for lunch or visit All Hallows Church opposite. All TARS members welcome.

Phone Lindsay 07910 379991 to leave voice mail message of name and phone number, or email: tarrytreats@aol.co.uk.

Closing date is end February. Check TARS Eastern Facebook page for details of late availability.
