Roger’s Day Out in York 26th Oct 2013

Roger’s Day Out at the new Chocolate Museum and the Railway Museum, York on 26th October 2013

Meet outside Museum Gardens at 11.00. The bus from the Park and Ride stops here. Do a short chocolate tour around York on route to the Museum.

The Chocolate Tour lasts one hour and it has been booked for 11.40. This means a lot of the afternoon will be free.  We recommend lunch and then a visit to the Railway Museum which is free, or for those interested enough, a guided tour of the second-hand bookshops of York could be arranged.

The maximum Chocolate Tour group is 20.

To keep us as one group we have been pencilled in as 10 adults and 10 senior citizens.  It can be amended to include children.  Full payment must be made 7 days before and so we need to know before then how many are keen to come. We need a minimum of 15 to get the group discount.

There are various cafés for lunching in – there is a church hall nearby which does cheap sandwiches and tea/coffee but it has no facilities.  The best option is Deans Court Hotel – where we have been before – as they are never as busy and will take a booking.  However, this could be a bit pricey.

The prices for the Tour are as follows:
