MIXED MOSS

The Publications Committee has decided that we should return to the traditional autumn publication date for Mixed Moss. So this year’s edition will appear in September 2016.

There is now a ‘waiting list’ for articles for 2016, though we can still accept books for review and just a few ‘Letters to the Editor’. But do keep writing, and anything squeezed out this year will be at the top of the list for consideration in 2017.

Contributions should be sent to:

julianlovelock@thecriticalforum.co.uk

Appearing each year, the Society’s flagship Literary Journal contains longer articles about Arthur Ransome’s life and books, and the people, boats and places who inspired and informed his work. Articles range in length from 300 – 3,000 words.

Mixed Moss

Articles need not be romantic and any size will do, as long as

  • about Arthur Ransome;
  • about Arthur Ransome’s life;
  • about Arthur Ransome’s work;
  • about Arthur Ransome’s boats or his fictional characters; or
  • about a derivative work in the Ransome tradition or style.
