There’s a lot to do and see in Hawes, an old Steam Train cafe, a rope making museum and a cheese making factory among them.
We have booked a demonstration of cheese making for 1.30pm at the Wensleydale Creamery. (Sat Nav DL8 3RN.) The cost will be less than £4 depending on numbers. Booking for this is essential so please let us know if you are up for this.
Before that there is a beautiful walk planned to see Hardraw Force a spectacular waterfall. Strong footwear recommended.
Meet at the National Park Centre car park next to the Dales Museum at 10.00, if it’s wet – just visit the museum instead.
Please let Veronica know if you are coming by Sept 26th.
