Hathersage

Requests have been made for a ‘good long walk.’ People have differing ideas about what this means!

Our walk will be 8½ miles, there will be some rough terrain, and the Peak District has hills! However there is also the option of a shorter route of about 3 miles.

We will meet in Hathersage at 11am. There is a station in Hathersage so perhaps consider coming by rail.

The long walk will go up onto Stanage Edge and will include Crow Chin and High Neb. On the way back it visits the grave of Little John, friend of Robin Hood. We hope to be back in Hathersage with enough time to have a swim at the wonderful outdoor pool before heading home.

For details of where to meet and to book please contact Amanda – either see Signals or e-mail midlands@athur-ransome.org.uk
